Milton Gale Lake

Versailles-Milton Gale Lake, 61, husband of Katherine Jane Cable Lake, of Mundys Landing Road, died unexpectedly February 21, 2008. He was a member of the East End Church of Christ and was president of the Bluegrass Horse Pulling Association. He was born June 28, 1946, and was the son of Marsdon and Agnes Taylor Lake of Harrodsburg. Additional survivors include two children, Missy Lake and Barbie Roberts and her husband Sonny, three grandchildren, Kayla, Lakin and Madison Roberts, one sister, Linda Lake. Services were Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Betts & West Funeral Home, Nicholasville, with Evangelist Aaron Erhardt. Burial was in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers were Ray Powell, Joe Hays, Keith Ricks, Brent Shelton, Max Anderson, James Humphrey, Bill Cobb and Troy Sammons. Honorary bearers are members of the Bluegrass Horse Pulling Association and Brothers and Sisters in Christ at the East End Church of Christ.
