Nancy Ann Johns

Nancy Ann Johns was 82 years old and lived a very beautiful life. Nancy lived in Wilmore, Kentucky, and passed away at her home peacefully on the 13th of March 2024. She was born in Stafford, New York, to Blaine and Viola Wight. She grew up on a farm in upstate New York. Nancy had a master's degree in education and was married to Ronald Johns for 60 years. She was a teacher in New York, Florida, and Kentucky. She was a Christian who attended Wilmore Free Methodist and Homer Baptist churches. She had many friends worldwide, including the Zubers, O’Briens, and Hartmans. Nancy was an educator, wife, and gardener who enjoyed many other outdoor activities. Our mom was born on March 17, 1941. She passed away on March 13, 2024. Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Lynn Johns. She had five sisters and June is her surviving sister. The children surviving are Beth and David, and the grandchildren are Jeff, Sophia, Bethany, Micah, Haley, Jacob, Isaac, Judah, Aidan, and Heidi. Great Grandchildren are Adora, Aviana, Matthew, Ezra, Arlo, Sierra, Vincent, Emrys, Jordan, Luke, Cash, Cade, Toby, Penny, and Sadie. Her Pastors were Daryl Diddle and Dwight Winters. Services will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Wilmore Free Methodist Church with Pastor Daryl Diddle officiating. The visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the church.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to Parkinson’s Research through the Michael J Fox Foundation.
