Nancy Lou Sams

Nancy Lou Vickers Sams, 66, widow of Kenneth Sams, passed away September 7, 2015. She was born in Lexington on August 28, 1949 to the late Earl and Mildred Louise Canter Vickers. She was the owner of Pestmasters and a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Nancy loved cooking, computer games, working puzzles and her pets. She is survived by two children Cindy Sams and Steven (Shirley) Sams, eight grandchildren Jacob (Nikki) Sams, Emily Miller, Joseph (Hannah) Sams, Sarah, Abigail, Crimson, Kendra and Aimee Sams, five great grandchildren, Haylee Daughtery, Bruce and Jonathan Sams, Kailynn and Olivia Sams, one brother James Vickers and one sister Melvina (Eddie) Brown and other family members to mourn her passing. Nancy was also preceded in death by one son, Jason Sams and a brother, Charles Earl Vickers. Memorial service will be held at 2PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5-8 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to funeral home to offset burial expenses.
