Naomi Ruth -Komie- -Nan- Teater Major, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010. She was born April 2, 1938 in Nicholasville to the late Virgil Hubert and Alline Durham Teater. Komie was a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, McKinney Homemakers in Lincoln Co., and loved to play cards, make ceramics and do puzzles. Survivors are three children, Tommie Tuttle (Les) Gooch of Lincoln Co., Terry Tuttle (Robert) of Nicholasville, Denise Kaye Major Enlow of Paris, four grandchildren, William -B.J.- (Nicole) Gardner of Jessamine County, Mark Alan Hamann II of Nicholasville, Bentley T. and Taylor Morgan Enlow of Paris, two great grandchildren, Alexander William Gardner and Madison Taylar Hamann of Jessamine County, two sisters, Doris McVey of Lexington and Marjorie June (Bob) Richard of Georgetown, six brothers, Lester (Judy) Teater, James (Mary) Teater, Don (Pauline) Teater, of Lexington, John G. (Roszella) Teater and Darrell (Arlene) Teater of Nicholasville, Albert (Charie) Teater of AL and other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by a son Wayne Tuttle Jr.. Services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be William J. Gardner, Mark A. Hamann II, Bentley T. and Taylor M. Enlow, Michael McVey, Robert Leach, Thomas and Chris Snow and Monti Teater. Honorary Bearers will be Leslie Gooch, Brian T. Snow, Michael and John E. Teater, Daniel Volpe, Clayton L.
