Nina Marie Shearer Moore

Nina Marie Shearer Moore, 95, widow of Hillary David Moore, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016. She was born in Nicholasville, KY on November 21, 1920 to the late Jesse Homer and Grace Mulligan Shearer. He was a retired Dietary Manager for Royal Manor Nursing Home, a member of Roberts Chapel Methodist Church and the Jessamine County Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She is survived by two daughters Rose Marie Sheeler and Cheryl Hager, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews to mourn her passing. She was also preceded in death by one son Homer David Moore, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Alex McFarland, Mark Bishop, James Hager, Daniel Hager, Todd McFarland and James Perkins.
