Opal Clark

Nicholasville-Opal Clark 79, widow of Charles Clark died July 27, 2009, after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Matt and Liza Elswick Johnson. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Newsome, three sons, Larry Clark, Steve Clark, and Charles Clark Jr., eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, three sisters, Lillie Ray, Freda Owens, and Irene Johnson, five brothers, Estil, Bert, Charles, Harry and Freddie Wayne Johnson. She was preceded in death by two children, Patrick and Patricia Clark, a brother, Virgil Johnson, and step-father Fred Johnson. Services will be 11:00 am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home.
