Oscar Stanley Gunn

Oscar Stanley Gunn, 88, widower of Verla Odell Dillingham Gunn, died Saturday, November 15, 2014. Oscar was born December 10, 1925 in Muhlenberg County to the late Jessie and Tinkie Gunn. He was a member and former deacon at Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and the former owner and founder of the Y Grocery. Family survivors are three children, Gary Lee Gunn, Donald Craig (Vicki) Gunn and David Michael (Tammy) Gunn, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley Franklin Gunn. Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Derrick Summerel officiating.
