Owen Arthur Snowden

Owen Arthur Snowden, 79, husband of Edith Lorraine Lewis Snowden, of Second Street, Nicholasville, died January 29, 2008 from injuries sustained in an accident. He was a native of Estill County, born July 26, 1928 to the late Charlie and Eva Clem Snowden. Additional survivors include a step son, Kenneth Lee Hardin and a grandchild, Jessica Hardin, a sister and her husband, Opal and James Witt, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a step son, Raymond Eugene Hardin, several brothers and sisters. Services will be 11am Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth King officiating. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday and from 9:00-11:00am Thursday. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
