Owen Wayne Moberly

Nicholasville-Owen Wayne 'Fuzzy' Moberly, 70, widower of Pauline Mae Wilson Moberly, passed away February 3, 2012 at Christian Care Center in Lancaster. He was an employee of Clay Corman Excavating for 29 years. Owen was born in Garrard County on September 20, 1941, son of the late Owen Perry Moberly and Anna Lee Fathergill (Harold) Nirkirk. Survivors include three children, Sharie (Junior) Lee-Junction City, Jeff (Susanne) Moberly and Jerry (Rebecca) Moberly-both of Nicholasville, eight grandchildren, Scotty (Cassie) Lee, Josh (Lisa) Lee, Heather (Joey) Blake, Michelle (Daniel) Melcher, Kenneth Moberly, Sarah Simmons, Samantha Sauls, Lauren, Amanda and Maddie Moberly, six great grandchildren, Levi Holt, Tyler,, Trista, Zoe and Mason Lee and Gabe Melcher, three brothers, Jerry and David Moberly and Harold Nirkirk. Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Monday.
