Paul Dedrick Curry, 88, loving husband to Madeline Renfro Curry, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. He was born to the late Russell Pearl and Eunice Ashcraft Curry Perkins, on November 23, 1929, in Madison County. Paul worked in Farm and Repair, for more than thirty years for Von Gruneigan Appliance. He attended the Mt, Beulah United Methodist Church. Paul is survived by a large family; his five children, Ronnie Lane (Emma) Curry, Donna Sue (John) Cobb, Paul Allen (Julia) Curry, Gregory Lee (Cindi Holmes) Curry, Pamela Kaye (William) Woods, Brother Odell Curry, and sisters Ora Mae Childers, Dixie Hamilton, and Maxie Reed. 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by three brothers Bud, Ray, and Franklin. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 4, 1PM, at Betts and West Funeral Home. Pastor Patrick Wallace will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at Betts and West. Burial will immediately follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Paul Ray Curry, Rusty Cobb, Neal Cobb, Alexander Cobb, Clint Cobb, Brandon Montgomery and Nicholas Curry.
