Paul Gregory "Greg" Ballard

Nicholasville- Paul -Greg- Ballard, 46, husband of Tina Hill Ballard, of Kurtzland Drive, died September 24, 2009 after a battle with cancer. He was a truck driver for McLane, a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Desert Storm and a member of Allensville Baptist Church in Winchester. Greg was an avid sports fan. He was the son of Polly S. Fields Ballard and the late Dewey G. Ballard. Additional survivors include a daughter, Megan S. Kelley, two step sons, Levi and Austin Hill, a brother Thomas G. Ballard, his mother in law, Angie Hill, brother in law Jeff (Trish Banta) Hill, a niece and nephew, Taryn and Dylan Hill, numerous other family and friends. Services will be 1:30pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-4 and 6-9pm Sunday. Bearers will be John Black, Mike McFadden, Jeff and Dylan Hill, David Corman and Zach Harper. Honorary bearers will be Gerald Hoskins, Kenneth Covington and Charlie Baker.
