Paul Ray Pickett

Paul Ray Pickett, 78, widower of Carol Owens Pickett, died, Sunday, November 1, 2015. He was born August 9, 1937 in Hinton, KY to the late Albert and Ruby Howard Pickett. Paul was a Air Force Veteran and liked to golf and fish. He was also a former Deputy Sherriff for Fayette County and retiree from Pepsi Cola. Family survivors are a daughter, Martina Pickett, two sons, Duane Thomas Pickett and Shane Paul Pickett, a step daughter, Lisa Culp, two grandchildren, Dylan and Colin Pickett, two sisters, Selah Collins and Vivian Capehart, a brother, Harold Pickett and other family members. Services will be 12:30 PM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
