Paula June Robinson Lay

Paula June Robinson Lay, 59, widow of Vertriece “Butch” Lay, Jr. died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospice. She was born on June 4, 1958 in London, Kentucky to Jerry Oler and Alma Sumner Robinson. Paul worked at the St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington and loved vacations, especially to the beach. She is survived by a daughter, Hayley Gilbert and a son, Jacob Lay, five grandchildren, Courtney (Cody) Lopez, Holly (Ryan) Gosser, Cameron (Summer) Miller, Deven Downey and Joseph Downey. Additional survivors include great grandchildren, Abi, Carder, Sophia, Cody, Kayven and Kyler, two brothers, Larry (Bonnita) Robinson and Steven Robinson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Taylor. Services will be 1:30PM, Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Taylor Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Deven Downey, Joseph Downey, Cody Lopez, Bobby Noel, Donald Taylor II and Chris Cheek.
