Pearl Horn King, 86, widow of Millard King, died October 1, 2007 at her home. Born August 23, 1921 in Estill County to the late Wilburn and Miranda Angel Horn. She was a self-employed representative for Avon. Pearl was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Karen K. Dowell-Nicholasville, two sons, Herbert (Loraine) King-Nicholasville and Marshall King-High Bridge, ten grandchildren, Stefan King-Fl, William (Liz) King-TX, Tina (Tim) Frederick-Georgetown, Tammy (Joe) Church-Simpsonville, Joe (Jody) Carson-Nicholasville, James King-Nicholasville, Valerie (Virgil) Lewis-Lexington, Ryan Dowell-Nicholasville, Kelly Dowell-Georgetown, Heather (Eddie) Couture-Nicholasville, eleven great-grandchildren and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Carson and a son, Lonnie King. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Basil Hall, Rev. DeWayne Brewer and Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Bert Jones Marion Williams, Wayne Taylor, Tom Jennette, William Crawford, Lawrence Tillet, Jason Drury and Kevin Becknell. Honorary Bearers will be Billy and Gerald Carson, Browning Dowell, Leonard Fitch, Wayne Becknell, Howard Drury and TEL Sunday School Class. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Betts & West Funeral Home and Thursday from 10 until time of service at the church. Donations are suggested to the Mt.
