Peggy Jo Fulcher Reesor, 80. Wife of William Thomas Reesor Sr., they were happily and lovingly married for 61 years. Passed on Sunday March 24, 2024 at Central Baptist and went on to her heavenly home, she was surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on July 2, 1943, to the late Otho Fulcher and Nell Sumpter Fulcher.
She is survived by her two sons James Clinton (Heather Hudson) Reesor, William Thomas (Jealena) Reesor Jr., and daughter Brenda Ann (James Edward) Russell. She was a loving grandmother to eight, Alexis, Katie, Heather, James, Graham, Ashlee, Ian and Hadley and great-grandmother to six, Ella, Jaxson, Carter, Jayden, Josie and Knox. Additional survivors include a brother James (Margaret) Fulcher, and two sisters Rosemary Reeves and Lorraine Martin.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Glenn Dawes, Lucille Cundiff, Betty Mounce, Nancy Massey, and Winona Harris.
Peggy was the kindest soul you’d ever run across. She was known for loving her family and cherishing every moment spent with them, her kindness and compassion was admired by all who knew her. May we always be reminded of the impact she made on those around her.
Services will be held on Friday March 29, 2024, visitation will be from 10-11:30 with the funeral service starting at 11:30 at Betts & West Funeral home in Nicholasville. Burial will follow and take place at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
