Nicholasville-Perry A. Clark, 86, widower of Mary E. Clark, died December 31, 2009 after a brief illness. He was a farmer and retired from of Smith-Haggard Lumber Co as a construction foreman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WWII. Survivors include children, Ruth (Tommy) West-MI, George (Cathy) Clark-Lex., Bobby (Peggy) Clark-Lex., James Sankey Clark-Flemingsburg, Diane (David) Green-Nicholasville, Melissa (Patrick) Toth-Nicholasville, Jeff (Fran) Clark-Nicholasville, seventeen grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Christine Warner and Mary Rose. He was preceded in death by three children, Clifford Clark, Perry A. Clark Jr. and Pattie Major, several brothers and sisters. Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Barnes. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm Monday. Bearers will be Bob Oakley, Logan Toth, Brad Clark, Jackson Green, Brian Clark and Mike Griffitt. Honorary bearers will be Dexter Knight, Juanita Nave and his other grandchildren.
