Phyllis June Collins

Phyllis June Jackson Collins, 80, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at her home in Versailles. She was born in Flemingsburg on June 8, 1942, to the late Woodrow Jackson and Hazel Gardner Jackson. Phyllis was a registered nurse, as well as a member of the Christ Embassy Church. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Steve Collins (Patti); daughter, Amanda Terrell (Danny); stepdaughter, Barbara Groves (Paul); brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Danny, Gary, and Randall Jackson; sisters, Shirley Routt, Kay Ginn, and Cindy Cummings; grandchildren, B.J. Hart, Brandi Terrell, Steven Edward Collins, Derick Bowman, Benji Moore, Daniel Terrell, and Kenny Littral; as well as numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two siblings, Timmy Jackson, and Patsy Jackson. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 13, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Apostle Johnathan Stidham officiating. Burial will follow at Keene Cemetery, where bearers will be B.J., Daniel, Steven, Derick, Benji, and Jacob. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Phyllis and her family in their time of need.
