Ray Clifton Jones

Nicholasville-Ray Clifton Jones, 61, husband of Sally Jean Middleton Jones, of Robin Road, died August 20, 2009. He was a wholesale distributor for Southern Wine and Spirits for 39 years and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was the son of the late Charles and Marie Reardon Jones. Additional survivors include four children, Tony (Shawn) Jones, Rick Perkins, Randy Perkins and Lynn (Curtis) Strange, eight grandchildren, Jonathan Perkins, Tonya (Ezequie) Adame, Krystal (John) Huddleston, Sondra (Jason) Roberts, Staci, Ashley and Andrew Perkins and Corey Rogers , four great grandchildren, Jayden Perkins, Sara Huddleston, Karina Cruz and Emma Raye Roberts, seven brothers, three sisters and many other family members. Services will be11:00am Monday, August 24, 2009 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Al Taylor and Chris Hagan. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
