Rebecca "Becky" Suzanne Hodge

February 18, 1947 — June 20, 2024

Rebecca “Becky” Suzanne Hodge of Harvest Alabama went to be with her Lord on June, 20, 2024. She passed away at home from adrenal cancer at age 77. Rebecca was born February 18, 1947 in Louisville Kentucky. She graduated from Butler High School, then went on to attend Murray State University, and graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Anthropology. While at Murray she met and married her husband, Craig Hodge. They both served with the Armed Forces in Missouri, California, Virgina, Arizona, and Germany. Rebecca served in both the Air Force and Army Reserves. She retired in 2007 from her roles in security and administration in the Government Printing Office in Washington D.C.

She loved her family and friends and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. She brought life and excitement to any room she entered. Her presence was always warm and caring. Becky was a dynamic woman of faith. She lived each day giving and honoring her Savior Jesus Christ. She was very self-sacrificing, putting others before herself, giving of her time and resources to favorite charities and people she met on a daily basis. Becky shared encouragement and was always willing to pray with others for their needs. This was a hallmark of her life, praying, always for her nation, church, family and friends.

Other passions that Becky pursued were gardening, reading, and researching current events, creation science and biblical archeology.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hubert Lee Morris and Wilma Jewel (Garrison) Morris. She is survived by her husband Craig E. Hodge, her sister Ardis (Morris) Trinkle, her two nieces Hannah (Trinkle) Painter and Elizabeth (Trinkle) Withers, and three great nieces (Elyse, Molly, and Nora), and two great nephews (James and Jack).
