Remious Day, Jr.

Remious Day, Jr., 75, husband of Bernice Morgan Day, died Friday, July 21, 2017. He was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on April 29, 1942 to the late Remious Day and Ethel Haynes Day. Remious was a Captain in the Lexington Fire Department Training Division working for 30 years, Member of Brookside Baptist Church, an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, a Mason and a wonderful Husband and Father. Additional survivors include a son, James Patrick Day, a sister, Lorraine Day and a brother, Raymond. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Brookside Baptist Church. Contributions suggested to your favorite charity. Betts & West Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
