Rickie Lee Erlewein

Rickie Lee Erlewein, 54, husband of Jill Marie Dickison Erlewein, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his home on Platt Drive, Nicholasville. He was born in Sandwich, Illinois, on March 16, 1970, to Darrell Gene Erlewein and Marlene Arvin Erlewein. Rickie worked as a machine operator for West Rock. He is survived by his wife, Jill; parents, Darrell and Marlene; daughter, Kylie Whitaker Erlewein; brother, Mike Erlewein; sisters, Connie Walters (Kenny), and Rhonda Erlewein Fogle; and granddaughter, Kaylani Cole. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 12, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Blake Slone, Tavin Haskins, Derby Caudill, Kristopher Cole, Robert Lockard, and Mike Erlewein. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to go to the Jessamine County Humane Society.
