Robert W Rettie

Robert W. Rettie (86) died peacefully in his sleep on June 4, 2024. Bob was a Navy veteran and traveled throughout his life for both work and pleasure, raising his family in a wide variety of countries, cities and towns around the world. Retirement brought him to Lexington where he spent his days making lead soldiers, painting watercolors, playing golf, and cheating at cards with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Beth, and his son Robert. He is survived by his brother Leith, his sons Christopher and Jerry, his seven grandchildren, Jordan, Jesse, Rae, Wyatt, William, Daisy, Evan, and one great-grandchild, Josephine. Ruth Ann Rettie of Hopkinsville, KY is the mother of his children.

A memorial service is planned for the fall.
