Roger N. Davis

Nicholasville-Roger N. Davis, 65, husband of Anna Reynolds Davis, of Garden Park Drive, died November 5, 2008 at Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He was born April 11, 1943 in Jessamine County, son of the late Carl and Dorothy Davis. Additional survivors include two daughters, Kristi Davis Skeens and her husband Eric, Tracy N. Davis and her companion Jennifer Cooper, grandchildren, Heather and Casey Parr, Christopher and Blake Wilson, a great grandchild, -A.J.- Marantos Jr., a brother, Joe Davis, a special aunt, Lovie May, a special niece, Cassie King, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Wayne Davis and Bobby Davis and two sisters, Wanda Lane and Hope Chapman. Services will be 11:00am Saturday November 8, 2008 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johns, Rev. Billy Peel and Rev. Willoughby. Visitation will be 5-9pm Friday. Burial will follow in Anitoch Cemetery. Bearers will be Phillip Fairchild, Joe and Theron Owens, Steve King, Nelson Hager and Nelson Hager Stinnett.
