Ronald Dale Shearer

Ronald Dale Shearer, 70, husband of Cynthia Rae Carter Shearer, passed away May 17, 2016 at his home. He was born January 28, 1946, to the late Dan and Mary Anne Shearer. He is survived by one son Ronald Dale, Jr. (Trish) Shearer, two daughters Angela Young (Todd) Lewis and Jennifer Dale (Brian) Carpenter, three grandchildren Olivia Bryant, Trey and Casey Shearer, Brian's son Corey and granddaughter, Arleigh Carpenter.

Surviving him also are three brothers, Vernon, Dan Young, and Jim Edd, father-in-law Ray Carter, brother-in-law Jerry Carter (Debbie). He was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Roberts.

He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and enjoyed doing construction and repair work for the church.

He owned Bluegrass Metal Buildings, Inc. and was proud when his son Ron joined him in the business. The family is grateful for Todd Toole, Rodney Montgomery, Bob Blankenship, Kelly Herrington, Edgewood Baptist Church and Betts and West Funeral Home for the meaningful tribute they provided for Ronald Dale. Our family is overwhelmed by the number of friends and family who shared his service with us.
