Ronnie D. Marshall, 76, widower of Ruby Minton Marshall and Ruth Ann Watts Marshall, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his home. Ronnie was born April 1, 1937 in Paris, KY to the late Cecil 'Buck' Marshall and Edith Mitchell Powers. He was retired from the Air Force where he was an air frame technician, having served in Vietnam. He also was retired from Sgt. and Greenleaf and as a guard at Shakertown. Ronnie loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Liars Table at the Cottage Cafe. Family survivors are two sons, Ron Marshall, John (Angela) Black, three daughters, Venus (Roger) Belcher, Jackie (Mark) Tolson, Debbie (Phil) Webber, several grandchildren, a great grandchild, a special friend, Steve Whelan and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a son, Harold W. Marshall and two brothers, Billy Marshall and Harold Linville. Services will be 1:30 Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplin DeWayne Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
