Rosa Lee Robinson Carpenter

Rosa Lee Robinson Carpenter, 97, widow of Enoch Arden Carpenter, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008. She was born August 1, 1911 in Harrodsburge. KY to the late Levi and Lonie Bell Brown Robinson. She was the former Co-Owner of Carpenters Dish Barn, member of Nicholasville Baptist Church, former trustee, a faithful member of the Lucile Hare Sunday School Class and a life member of the WMC. Survivors are two children, Minerva Jo Griffith-GA, Monte (Sondra Gayle) Carpenter-Jessamine County, four grandchildren, Danny (Lycia) Carpenter-Jessamine County, Tina (Glenn) Miller-Garrard County, Teresa (Paul) Floyd-Jessamine County, Debbie (Chuck) Fenwick-GA, seven great grandchildren, Monica, Travis and Eric Austin Carpenter, Jonathan and Jason Floyd-all of Jessamine County, Kristina and Gem Miller-Garrard County, one great great grandchild, Abby Carpenter, one brother, James Russell Robinson-both of Jessamine County. Services will be 10:00 am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Harrod officiating. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Danny, Eric Austin and Travis Carpenter, Paul, Jonathan and Jason Floyd and Glenn Miller.
