Ruby Beckley Waits

Ruby Beckley Waits, 87, widow of Joe Waits, of Grows Mill Road in Wilmore, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at The Willows of Harrodsburg. She was born in Versailles, Kentucky, on November 12, 1936, to the late Thomas Beckley and Beula Prather Beckley. Ruby was a member of Jessamine Christian Church. She is survived by her children, Timothy Joe (Jeanette) Waits, Teresa (Mark) Murphy, and Jeanna Y. (Jack) Greene; five grandchildren, Andrew Murphy, Kelly Curry, Melissa DiChiara, Aaron Waits, and Hannah Hilvert; and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, Joe, and two brothers. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 2, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Diane Munoz and Pastor Fred Vantatenhove officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Greene, Andrew Murphy, Beau Curry, Matt Hilvert, Michael DiChiara, and Aaron Waits. Memorial donations are suggested to go to Heritage Hospice.
