Russell Rhineheimer, husband of Pauline Hisel Rhineheimer passed away December 8. He was born January 21, 1936 in Jessamine County. He was the son of the late Henry and Texas Stinnett Rhineheimer. He is survived by three sons, George “Rusty” (Susan), Brian (Debbie) and Owen (fiancee Tracie Taylor). Grandchildren, David, Tanner, Emily, Ashton Rhineheimer and Bailey Fogle. Great grandsons, Drake, Declan Rhineheimer and Aydric Glass. All brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Lena Stinnett, Barbara Stinnett, Pauline Canter, Thomas, Charles, Paris, Dea and Adrian. Survivors are three sister-in-laws Lil, Ruth and Gladys. Numerous nieces and nephews. Best friend who was like a brother to him, Bill Armstrong. Russell was a life long farmer, loved the land and the animals. He was a member of East Hickman Baptist Church, teacher for many years for the Men's Bible Class and served as Deacon since 1982 serving the past few years as Deacon Emeritus. He was part of a team that were like brothers, Bob Ballard, Bill Armstrong that we called the Three Musketeers. Only Bill is surviving. They worked on many projects like building ramps for the handicapped and remodeling our church kitchen. Visitation will be at Betts & West Funeral Home Tuesday the 12th from 3 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tanner, David, Drake, Declan and Joe Rhineheimer, Rick and Kevin Hisel. Honorary bearers will be fellow deacons, Tony Gilbert and other family members. Services at East Hickman Baptist Church Wednesday the 13th at 10:30 with the Pastor Kevin Davidson. Burial at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice) or East Hickman Baptist Church.
