Ruth Elaine Hartman

Wilmore-Ruth Elaine Hartman, 98, of Talbott Drive, formerly of Walnut Street, was called to Heaven August 31, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Dr. T.M. and Kathyrn Hunt Anderson. She was employed at Asbury College Food Service, 1960's, Dixie Restaurant, and Insko's Christian Book Store, 1970's.'Survivors include two daughters, Joyce (Mike) Cassidy-VA and Shari (Harold) Rainwater-Wilmore, eight grandchildren, Connie (Steven) Mitchum, Carla Kidwell, Steven Paul (Miranda) Hartman, Jeff (Sylvia) Kennedy, Sgt. Kevin (Ashley) Kennedy, Deanna (Mark) Leary, Rhonda (Mike) Webster and Lee (Mary) Rainwater, great grandchildren, Tia and Kelsey Mitchum, Cody and Niki Kidwell, Ella and Delaney Hartman, Felicia (Terrail) Cooper, Katie, Jessica, Robbie and Cassidy Kennedy, Lt. Sean (Caitlin) Leary, Megan Leary, Lindsay, Ashley, Caleb and Samuel Rainwater, Waylon and Rhianne Webster, two great great grandchildren, Aubrey and Kendra Cooper. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Hartman, a sister, Lorraine Lappert and a brother, Howard Anderson. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Wilmore United Methodist Church, Clark Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wilmore Cemetery. Bearers will be Kevin Kennedy, Lee Rainwater, Mike Webster, Steven Paul Hartman, Harold Rainwater and Waylon Webster.
