Sandra Peel Slugantz

Sandra Peel Slugantz, 45, wife of John T. Slugantz II, on August 3, 2008 claimed her victory after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer Allen and Mollie Noel Peel. She was a member of Jessamine Christian Church and an active volunteer within the Jessamine Co. Schools. Additional survivors include her beloved and cherished children, Andrew Thomas, Mollie Beth, Emma Catherine and Seth Allen, brothers and sisters, Eugene S. (Sandra) Peel, Linda L. (Danny) Preston, Henry S. (Mary) Peel, Deborah Combs, Olivia Mallory, Laura Peel and Norma (Kenneth) Wells. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Kevin L. Coldiron and brothers in law, Dale Combs and George Mallory. Gravesite services will be 10:30am Wednesday at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bruce Heller and Assoc. Min. Dale Hunt. Bearers will be Mike Mallory, Danny Ray Coldiron Jr., Tony Wells, Marc and Sonny Preston, Brian Peel, Chris and Jeff Patterson, Michael Scherzer and Gabe Slugantz.
