Shannon Louise Hardin Jennings, 78, wife of Norman Lee Jennings, passed Saturday, October 7, 2017. She was born January 14, 1939 in Mercer County to the late Vernon “Pete” and Ruby Simpson Hardin. Shannon was a beautician, member of Jessamine Christian Church, Jessamine County Homemakers, the Corvette Club, and also enjoyed boating, family survivors are twin sons, Harry Mitchell and his wife Sherry, Larry Mitchell and his wife Julie, two step sons, Jeffrey Jennings and Jonathan Jennings and his wife Lisa, granddaughter, Athena Mitchell, twin grandsons, Mark Mitchell and his wife Sara, Danny Mitchell and his friend Jackie, four great grandchildren, and other family members. Service will be Noon Friday at Jessamine Christian Church with Minister Wally Rendel officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
