Beloved, Sharon Lynn Dickenson, 57, of Nicholasville, Kentucky was lifted-up to heaven by our Lord and Savior on May 2, 2020 at University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care. Sharon was the loving daughter of Emma Jean Duncan Dickenson and the late James Ray Dickenson. She was born on January 23, 1963 in Bristol, Tennessee.
Sharon graduated from Sullivan University in 1992, with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She made the ultimate sacrifice years ago and became the caregiver to her elderly parents and for that our family will be eternally grateful. She attended Nicholasville First Assembly of God. Sharon was a very devoted Christian. She loved God with all her heart and soul. Sharon’s favorite Book in the Bible was Ephesians. She was also a big fan of University of Kentucky basketball and football and she adored animals especially her cats, Smokey and Joey.
Sharon will be dearly missed by her Mother, sisters: Joanne (Larry) Morgan and Donna Fay Dickenson and brother James David (Janet-deceased) Dickenson. She will be lovingly remembered by nieces: Tish (Jason) Wade, Lori (Wes) Powell, nephew Michael Dickenson and her great nieces and nephew: Adison Cobb, Caleb Powell, Ava Powell, and Olivia Wade along with many cousins. As well as, those in her church family and friends whose lives she has touched.
Sharon was preceded in death by nephew Jason Eric Dickenson.
A private intimate remembrance ceremony will be held at Betts & West Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM of which, Pastor Terry Moore will officiate. In cooperation with the request of Health Officials, due to Covid-19, with a 10 person, immediate family member limitation, we request that you please sign her online guestbook to leave a memory and support for her family at www.bettsandwestfuneralhome.com. The service will be live streamed for you to view beginning at 2:00 PM Friday via Facebook Betts & West Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
