Sharon Kay Wiggs

Sharon Kay Wiggs, 72, wife of Stanley Richard Wiggs, Jr., Wilmore, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Jessamine County on July 24, 1952, to the late Morris Coffey and Nancy Lee Coffey. Sharon was a Certified Medical Assistant for 33 years, having worked much of that at Commonwealth Urology. She is survived by her husband, Stanley; daughter, Stacy Wiggs Chandler (Mark Jr.); brother, Donald Coffey (Judy); sisters, Patricia Ridgeway, Linda David, and Darlene Horton (Ronnie); as well as grandson, Cole Stanley Chandler. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 18, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Ronald Horton officiating. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, where bearers will be Howard Smith, Ted Owens, Randy David, Sam Grimes, Mark Chandler Sr., and Harold Chandler. Cole Chandler, Chuck Smith, David Irvin, and Ronnie Horton will serve as honorary bearers. Visitation will be held the day prior, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home.
