Sheila Ann Hager Preston, 75, widow of Noah “Roger” Preston, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, Florida. She was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky, on August 31, 1946, to the late Andrew Jackson Hager and Mable Frances Willis Hager. Sheila is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brad) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; brothers, William Donald Hager, Johnny Dale Hager, and Lee Elwood Hager; as well as two infant siblings, and her beloved dachshund, Precious. Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, August 15, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Moses-Reynolds Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brad Smith, Jeff Graham, Daniel Hager, Bob Dailey, Josh Hager, and James Hager. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
