Sheila Orange Smith

Sheila Orange Smith 59, widow of Gary Wayne Smith, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born August 31, 1959 in Lexington, Virginia to the late Norman Orange and Mae Elizabeth Bennington Orange. Sheila was a member of Apostolic Fellowship Holiness Church, a graduate of Jessamine County High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Aide who loved to care for her many patients while living in Lexington, Virginia and later at Diversicare of Nicholasville. Survivors include her son, Dale Smith, sister, Edith Orange (Becky Cox), brothers, Freddie (Sherie) Orange, David Orange and other family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Orange. Services will be 12:00 PM, Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Murphy officiating and burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be her nephews, Rick, David Jr., Jason, Kevin, Nathan Orange and great niece, Claire Orange. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
