Shelby Jane Carender Alexander

Shelby Jane Carender Alexander, 83, widow of Donald Lee Alexander, passed away February 18, 2021. Shelby was born on August 9, 1937 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Bob and Nancy Perkins. She was a longtime member of Pinckard Baptist Church. Shelby is survived by two sons Adam (Lisa) Alexander and Terry (Stephanie) Alexander, one daughter Donna (James) Sullivan, five grandchildren Austin and Tyler Alexander, Robbie Arrowood, Mandy Ford, and Allison Trisler and six great grandchildren Nate and Jake Arrowood, Josh and Baylee Ford, Walker Alexander, and Jacob Trisler, and one great-great granddaughter, Blakely Arrowood. Funeral service will be conducted at 1PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11AM-1PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Austin Alexander, Tyler Alexander, Robbie Arrowood.
