Sherry Jean Goldey

Sherry Jean Goldey, 51, died Saturday, May 12, 2012. She was born December 29, 1960 in Lexington, KY to George Coleman Goldey of Nicholasville and the late Doris Jean Baber Goldey. Sherry attended Grace Fellowship Church and was a self employed caregiver. Additional survivors are two sons Brandon (Shena) Woods of Lancaster and Joshua Harness of Nicholasville, three grandchildren, Mason, Jayden and Hannah, her fiance, Major 'Kenny' Upton of Nicholasville, maternal grandmother, Katherine Baber of Nicholasville, four siblings, Brenda (Mike) Kestel of Nicholasville, George (Julia) Goldey of Nicholasville, Mike (Cheri) Goldey of Winchester and Teresa (Gary) Scott of Nicholasville, special friend, Bonnie Woods of Lancaster and other family members. Sherry was also preceded in death by her husband Jesse Harness. Services will be 3:30 pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Derber officiating. Burial will follow in Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 pm Wednesday.
