Sonja Louise Cartwright

Sonja Louise Cartwright, 79, widow of William Earl Cartwright, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018. She was born July 1, 1939 in Scott County, Kentucky to the late Orville Payne and Pearl Carew Payne. Sonja was a member of Harmony Fellowship and retired from Gulf States paper Company in Nicholasville. She is survived by a daughter, Robyn Vice Banks, son, Scottie Vice, brother, Tommy (Ina) Payne and sister, Joanne (Guy) Conley, two step-daughters, Julie Gregory and Kim (Mark) Whitehead, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Vice Norris and a sister, Wanda Noel. Services will be 1:00 PM, Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor John Ritchie officiating. Bearers will be Tommy Payne, Daniel Arnold, Bryson Carroll, Earl Banks, Paul Smith and Marc Brewer Sr. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
