Sue Francis Lucas Cobb, 88, widow of Arnett -Whitey- Cobb, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. Formally of Nicholasville, she was born December 25, 1919 in Owen County to the late Reuben Thomas and Mallie Moira Long Lucas. Sue was a retired Postal Clerk, member and former deaconess of Nicholasville Christian Church, longtime member of Circle 4 and Homemakers. Survivors are a daughter, Elsie Lynn (Lee) Cobb Tuney-Prospect, two grandchildren, David Linden Tuney-Louisville and Corinne Lee Tuney-Prospect and other family members. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Bill Lucas. Services will be 11:30 Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Mandrill officiating and burial to follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
