Sylvia Johnson

Sylvia Johnson 100, widow of the late Hugh Johnson, died Saturday, September 15. Born November 18, 1911 in Nicholasville, KY to the late Ike and Susan Coy James, Sylvia was a homemaker and a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Doris Murphy of Nicholasville, KY, Wanda Elam of Xenia, Ohio, Clarence Willhoite (Thelma) of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Roger Johnson (Liz) of Bradley, Il. 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 30 great, great grandchildren and a special niece, Lou Thomas of Milford, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Willhoite, son Delbert Willhoite, two grandsons, two great grandchildren and eleven siblings. Visitation at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, September 18, at Betts and West Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Cecil Hall officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
