Syvella Roberts

Syvella Burgin Roberts, 86, widow of Herbert Harvey Roberts passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014. She was born in Nicholasville on September 22, 1928 to the late Samuel and Maggie Stinnett Burgin. Syvella worked at Carolyns Hideaway Gift Shop and attended Antioch Christian Church. She is survived by one son Larry Roberts, two daughters, Lesa Asberry and Lora Roberts, two grandchildren, Mike and Scotty Asberry, three great grandchildren, Abby, John Robert and Silas Asberry, one special friend, Carolyn Corman and other family members. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five brothers, Clinton, Glendell, Eugene, Melton, and Matron Burgin and one sister Ursula Hurt. Funeral service for Syvella Roberts will be conducted at 11:30 AM Friday December 12 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Clint Hurt officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
