Tegwyn "Teg" Benton Evans

Tegwyn “Teg” Benton Evans, 71, husband of Beverly Ann Goodrich Evans, died on Thursday, August 22, 2024, after a short illness at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born on February 17, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Robert Kenneth Evans and Betty Jane Benton Caruthers. He was a music promoter, owner of Shindig! Productions, and a member of ASCAP. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Randall Kenneth (Emilee) Evans; two daughters, Michele Layne (Brian) Lunetta, and Valerie Lynne (Ben) Hildabrand, and a sister, Lynda Powell, four grandchildren, Alexandria Grace Lunetta, Gabrielle Ann Lunetta, Adelia Lynne Hildabrand and Harold Benton Hildabrand and another on the way. Teg loved his family more than anything else in this world and the brightest lights in his life were his grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and sharing his love of music with them. There was no bigger supporter of music and helping musicians find their voice and start in the music industry. Countless people were touched by his support, encouragement, and love. The visitation will be held from 4:30 PM- 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Edgewood Baptist Church, Nicholasville, Kentucky. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 30, 2024, also at Edgewood Baptist Church with Pastor David Kibler officiating. The casket bearers will be Randall Evans, Brian Lunetta, Ben Hildabrand, Scott Collins, Matt Hadley, Connor Hadley, Curtis Mitchell, and Jake Brumfield with honorary casket bearer, Benton Hildabrand.
