Thomas Alan Jelf

Thomas Alan Jelf, 67, husband of Margaret Diane Phillips Jelf, died Sunday, April 13, 2014. He was born November 7, 1946 in Poughkeesie, NY to the late Thomas Anderson Jelf and Mary Elizabeth Motley Bowen. He loved his family, the outdoors, golfing, fishing and his dog Blue. He was retired from Lexmart, formally IBM and later worked at High Point Golf Course. Additional survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Julie Alan (Richard) Cheuvront and Ann Camille (Scott) Latham, a grandchild, Evan Miles Brummette, a brother and sister in law, Buddy and Marcie Snowden and their children Michael and Ryan Snowden and their families, mother in law, Josephine Phillips, many other family members and special friends. Memorial service will be 3:00PM, today at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Sholar officiating. Visitation will be today from 1:00 pm until time of service.
