Thomas "Sonny" Calvin Moberly

Nicholasville-Thomas 'Sonny' Calvin Moberly, 90, husband of Clara June Kincer Moberly and the late Christine Drury Moberly, died Wednesday. He was born March 10, 1922 in Madison County to the late Bert and Clara East Moberly. He attended Antioch Christian Church, was retired from IBM, was a member of Jessamine County Beef Association, a past member of Wilmore Lions Club and loved to woodwork. Family survivors are two children, Arthur T. 'Tom' Moberly and Pam (Ron) Ray, a step daughter, Kimberly (Larry) Lane, two grandsons, one step grandson, four great grandchildren, a sister, Myrtle King and a very special sister in law, Marie Moberly. Services will be 11:00 am Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bryce McCulley and Pastor Clint Hurt officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Nephews will serve as bearers. Contributions suggested to The Gideon-s International or ones favorite charity.
