TIna Jo Courtney Gayheart

Tina Jo Courtney Gayheart, 66 of Laurel Lane, Nicholasville, passed away January 23, 2025 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born to the late James and Frances Skinner Courtney on March 13, 1958, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was a retired Deputy Jailer for the Jessamine County Detention Center. She is survived by her daughter Stacy (Les) Underwood, a brother Richard (Ella) Courtney, and a granddaughter Madison Gayheart. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Billie Jo Hettinger, two brothers James and John Courtney, and two grandchildren Collin Louis and Courtney Grace Hettinger. Funeral service will be conducted at 11AM, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Bill Bales officiating. burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
