Tom C. Hoover Sr.

Tom C. Hoover Sr., 77, husband of Billie Jo Bayes Hoover, passed Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born December 1, 1940 in Irvin, Kentucky to Leonard Hoover and Nancy Elizabeth Taylor Inman. Tom worked as a mechanic and was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He played the guitar and loved classic country music. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Clarence (Dawn) Hoover, Jr. and Ralph (Emma) Jones, four daughters, Vickie Lynn Bradshaw, Sharon Elizabeth Rucker, Debra Kaye Frazier and Karen Jones, 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several siblings. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Grant Hardwick officiating. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
