Vicki Jo Russell Dunaway, 66, widow of Danny Lee Dunaway, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at her home on Maxey Valley Road in Hustonville, Kentucky. She was born to the late Raymond Russell and Virginia Russell on March 4, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is survived by three daughters, Jeanna Michelle (Chad Durham) Dunaway, Virginia Faye (Joshua Trainer) Dunaway, and Danielle Lee (Matt) Dykes, eight grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie, Brandon, Gunner, Jesse, Travis, Colton, and Jarvis, and eight great-grandchildren, Parker, Weston, Lucian, Whaylen, Anastasia, Ivorianna, Waylen, and Harlan, a sister, Debbie Sidell and a brother, Billy Russell. She is preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Dunaway, and four brothers, Jimmy Russell, Raymond Russell, John Russell, and Danny Russell. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Danny. Bearers will be Brandon McClure, Gunner Dykes, Travis Durham, Jesse Dykes, Chad Durham, Josh Trainer, Matt Dykes and Dee Stoker. The visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Betts & West is honored to serve Vicki and the Dunaway family.
