Virgil Lee Mccuddy

Nicholasville- Virgil Lee McCuddy, 64, widower of Pauletta Mays McCuddy, of Jackson, TN, formerly of Nicholasville, died June 26, 2009 in Jackson after a lengthy illness. He was an independent insurance salesman for many years, was involved in many civic organizations and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in five campaigns in Viet Nam. He was the son of the late Sterling L. McCuddy Sr. and Marie Wilson McCuddy. Survivors include two brothers, Sterling L. (Sheila) McCuddy and William P. (Debra) McCuddy, nephews, Mitchell L., Duane, Jason P. and Michael D. McCuddy, several beloved cousins. Services will be 1:00pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Mandrell. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Sunday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be Sterling L. McCuddy, William P. McCuddy, J.C.
