Virgil Taylor Leasor Jr.

Virgil Taylor Leasor Jr., 79, husband of Judy Carolyn Riddle Leasor, passed Saturday, May 6, 2017. He was born June 18, 1937 in Cecilia, KY to the late Virgil Taylor Sr. and Mary Ellen Harrod Leasor. He was a devoted member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witness, Nicholasville, Ky. Additional family survivors are four children, Paul Taylor (Debbie) Leasor, Jonathan W. (Amariah) Leasor, Janet C. Leasor (Jason) McDaniel and Stuart Thomas Leasor, five grandchildren, Ruth Desiree Leasor, Miriam Elizabeth Leasor, Lydia Taylor Leasor, Landon Joseph Taylor Leasor and Bridget (A.J.) Kopchak, a great grandchild, Piper Lucille Kopchak, a brother, William Lee (Elaine) Leasor and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Sonny (Judy Ann) Leasor. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 110 Shannon Parkway, Nicholasville, KY 40356. Services conducted by Jason A. McDaniel. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Betts and West Funeral Home. Family will serve as Bearers including Eldon Smith.
