Vivian Rose Taylor Lowry

Nicholasville-Vivian Rose Taylor Lowry, 85, widow of Elzie F. Lowry, died June 29, 2012. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women-s group. She was a former employee of the KY Department of Human Resources and was previously involved with the Jessamine Co. 4-H program. She was the daughter of the late Eldon and Lula Fortune Taylor. Survivors include her children, Pat L. Watts, Billy Keith Lowry, Sharon (Darrell) Casey, Susan (Gary) Burdine and Amy (Walt) Jourdan, her grandchildren, Melanie Watts-Hinkle, Spiz (Megan) Watts, Dianna (Greg) Stratton, Jeremy Casey, Meagan (Will) Stallard, Aaron (Missy) Hulett, Kenny Burdine, Beth Burdine and Lindsay (Jerad) Cornelius, her great grandchildren, Breanna, Josh, Lane, Olivia, Emory, Asa, Ben, Owen, Oaklee, Jacob, Julie, Afton and Hudson. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Marcella Taylor. Services will be 1:00pm Monday, July 2, 2012 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Brewer officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm Sunday, July 1, 2012. Family members will serve as bearers.
